Do you love to craft, but hardly have the time to finish any of the super time-consuming crafts out there? This is the answer!

Crafting was my life. There are more than four years of that statement reflected here on this blog. I love to craft. A little over a year ago, I went back to work at my full-time (non-crafting) job. Working 40+ hours a week, and having the usual family obligations, a husband, 3 kids, a dog, 4 birds, etc, my crafting time was impacted severely. But I somehow managed to get in some time to craft still.
This summer I decided that I wanted to progress further in my profession, so in August I went back to school full-time. In addition to working full-time still, plus family obligations this brought my craft time down to almost nothing. At first, I was ok with that sacrifice. School was super important in achieving the goals I had set for myself. But it became pretty apparent that crafting was more than just a hobby. It makes me happy, and it was a fabulous stress reliever! I was struggling to find time to get any projects done. And any projects that I did start were just frustrating because they took so long to complete. I only had a few minutes here, and a few minutes there, to work on anything. Projects that I could get done in an afternoon before suddenly took an entire week of pieced together moments to complete.
Does any of this sound familiar to you? Are you a very busy person too? Who isn’t busy these days, right!?
It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still be able to make beautiful things though. I’ve finally figured out how. I’ve gotten so much out of the craft community that I belong to, and I’ve shared so many crafty milestones with you, so I wanted to share this too.

This miracle craft project? It’s called Chalk Couture. I’ve seen it around on my social media channels for a while now. I’ve enjoyed watching other people’s videos, but never really gave it much thought outside of that. That is until I suddenly found myself with no time to craft!
What is Chalk Couture?
The short answer is that Chalk Couture is a craft company that makes chalk pastes and inks that you apply using premade silkscreen transfers to a surface.
These projects are very similar to painting with a stencil, except without the mess, bleedthrough, stencil hassles or any of that.
It sounds simple because it is!
Why do I love it?
My biggest reason for loving it? It’s fast! I can complete a beautiful project for my home, or to gift in under 10 minutes. Seriously. Start to finish.
NO JOKE!
I also love that the surfaces are reusable if you want them to be. You can, of course, seal your beautiful projects and keep them forever. Or, you can use a little bit of water and wipe them away. Easily changing them for a new season, or when you just want a little decor refresh. Think of the endless possibilities!

I love that the cute little pots of chalk paste last through multiple projects. It doesn’t require a lot of paste to complete most projects. And there are SO many beautiful colors to choose from!

It’s great that the templates are completely reusable too. Simply wash them, store them, and pull them out next time you want to use that design again. I thought the cost was high, initially, until I realized that I was paying for a reusable craft supply, not a one time use it and toss it item.
There is no special magic cleaning solution, either. It shouldn’t cost you more money to clean it up and start over. Just simple distilled water will do!

Where can you purchase Chalk Couture?
Right now Chalk Couture is only available through their website and individual designers like me. Sometimes designers add the product to their little personal boutiques, so you might see it around in small shops or craft fairs if you’re lucky. But most of us need to order it online or through a designer.
There are several ways to get this awesome product:
- Place a personal order through the website. You can click here to do that.
- Place a personal order directly through a designer. (leave your email in a comment below and I will reach out to you directly to help you)
- Host a make and take party in your home or an online shopping party with your local designer.
- Become a designer yourself (a little more on that below)

Have you subscribed to any of those monthly delivery kits that are so popular right now? I might have one or two that I love lol! This one included. Yep, Chalk Couture has a monthly kit too. Club Couture. I love it! Every month they send you a new transfer design (that’s only available through Club Couture), chalk paste singles in a couple of pretty shades, and instructions to make another beautiful piece of decor for your home.

I’ve paid, on average, $25-$50 a month for some of these monthly sub boxes. My favorite thing about this one is that it’s only $20. Awesome deal!
