Resin and Fairy Gardens and Moving!
Do you ever find yourself saying “when life calms down just a little bit, I’ll get that done…”? That’s been my life theme for pretty much this entire year! I miss the craft shack, and being able to spend lots of time here sharing my projects! I’ve been so busy, and it shows in the neglect on the blog. We’ve been trying to sell our home, and that’s been quite the roller coaster! Selling a house is hard! I’m not the best housekeeper, so it’s been quite the challenge to keep the house looking it’s best. I’d much rather be crafting! There have been offers that fall through and the open houses, and having to grab the kids and the dogs at any moment and make ourselves scarce so strangers can walk through my house looking critically at every detail. I’m hoping that we won’t have to keep it up for much longer. Do you know anyone who wants to buy a house in New Mexico? Send them my way!
While I am not able to craft nearly as much as I’d like these days, I have been having so much fun working on some Resin projects, and some fun Wood projects as well!
I shared a fun DIY knob tutorial over on the Resin Crafts Blog earlier this month. I’m seriously having so much fun with all the amazing resin projects! I can’t believe I was afraid of resin once! Pop on over to check out the full tutorial! (Click the picture below)
While you’re over there, check out some of the other amazing projects. Like these gorgeous pendants that Natalie from Doodlecraft made. They are seriously my favorite! Aren’t they beautiful?! You can totally make them yourself!
I also shared a fun little Fairy Garden over on the Walnut Hollow blog! Have you made a fairy garden yet? I’ve been blogging with Walnut Hollow now for over a year now, isn’t that crazy?! I sure love them!
It’s nice to be able to get a few projects in on those two awesome blogs, even if I don’t have as much time to play here as I’d like. These companies are so amazing to work with. Check them out, seriously! I’d go completely crazy without any crafting! I do have a fun Cricut project to share with you here next week and we’re in the process of planning my sons 16th birthday bash, which I also plan to make the time to share because it’s going to be AWESOME!
