Mason Jar Pumpkin Lantern
I love pumpkins! They are my favorite fall seasonal decoration. This little craft did not take very much time, used very few supplies, and turned out great! Easy enough for kids to do! Make a couple of varying sizes and line them up together on a shelf for a super cute Halloween decoration!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Mason Jar
- Mod Podge (or white glue)
- Tissue Paper
I used a round punch to cut my tissue paper but it isn’t needed! You can easily tear or cut your tissue paper into smaller easier to manage pieces without it.
Simply spread your glue or mod podge onto the jar, put tissue paper onto the glue, and cover the tissue paper with a little more mod podge or glue. I added a black tissue paper jack-o-lantern face after the orange was dry! I used orange and yellow tissue paper on the pumpkin to give it several different shades.
That’s it! Let it dry, and then add a little ribbon around the top if you want!
I love how using the orange and yellow tissue paper gave it a mottled varied look to the color. It looks really great with the light in it especially
