Magnetic Note Board from a dollar store tray!
I’m so excited that the new site is up and running and I can finally post this fun tutorial on how to make an easy magnetic note board! This last week one of our local news stations came to visit, and while they were here their very sweet reporter agreed to craft with me. This is what we made!
Here’s what you need:
A Dollar store cookie sheet
Burlap ribbon
Magnets
Glue (I used both hot glue and E6000 glue)
I made these awesome burlap roses in three colors. I love the neutral burlap, but adding in the blue and yellow made things a little more fun!
Doesn’t that look awesome! It’s so easy! I’m excited to show you how with my first ever Youtube video! Subscribe to the channel to see all our upcoming video tutorials.
Now that the roses are done, we can add fun magnets! You can turn just about anything into a magnet with a little glue. I made puzzle magnets.
I also took apart a cheap statement necklace and used the fun flower beads as magnets too. Bottlecaps, plastic gems, buttons all make great magnets!
I thought I’d make some fun magnets for the news channel and the craft shack too! These are my favorite, and SO easy! All you need is clear flat marbles (I get mine at the Dollar Tree dollar store), a small printed image, a magnet, and some E6000 glue (you can buy it at a craft store, walmart, or on amazon)(Affiliate link)
Just cut the picture to match the size of the marble, put a dot of glue on the front of the picture, and press it onto the flat side of the glass. Let it dry for a little bit, then attach your magnet to the back! So easy!
Glue your burlap roses to the board wherever you want them. Hot glue will attach them just fine. I added a cute Vinyl “Note” sticker to my board using my Silhouette. The Note cutout can be found in the Silhouette store.
