Make Adorable Planter Signs with the Cricut
This spring I’ve been working on my front porch. It was so plain and boring before I started. One project at a time I’m transforming it into a bright, happy and welcoming area! I’m having so much fun with it. One of my projects was an old planter box. (I’ll show you that project a little later this spring when I share my front door makeover with you too!) After fixing up the planter, I planted some fun, pretty spring flowers. They smell so good, and they look so happy sitting there on my porch. I wanted to take it just a little bit further and add some fun little greeting signs for my front porch planter box. I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 some Walnut Hollow small rustic signs, and a little paint to make these easy, adorable flower planter signs!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own adorable flower planter box signs:
- Cricut Cutting Machine
- Cricut Vinyl
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut Weeding tool
- Walnut Hollow Small Rustic Signs (3 pack)
- Decoart Multi Surface Satin Acrylic Craft Paint (I used School Bus Yellow and Cotton Ball White)

Step one:

Step two:
Step three:
Weed the excess vinyl off of the design using the Cricut weeding tool. I love this handy little tool!
Step four:
Use transfer tape to pull your vinyl design off the paper backing, and transfer it neatly onto the garden signs.
Rub the design to stick it to the sign well, then slowly peel the transfer tape off.
All done! In less than an hour you have some adorable little flower planter signs!
Since the signs were so easy to make, I’m thinking I need to make some fun summer holiday specific signs for my flower planter box now too.
