Create a cute Miniature Thanksgiving scene
This time of year is so much fun. From Halloween clear through Christmas! One of my favorite things about the holiday seasons is baking. I love to make goodies, and I frequently spend months making all kinds of sweets. With Thanksgiving coming, I’ve had pies on my mind. When my friends over at miniatures.com asked me to create a small mini Thanksgiving scene the first thing that came to mind was pie making! I found some super cute supplies to work with!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Mini Thanksgiving scene.
- Display Surface (I used a cute cake stand)
- Miniature Table (I used one from my grandmother but this one is similar)
- Miniature Bakers Rack
- Miniature Pies
- Miniature baking supplies
- Miniature Cutting Board
- Matte Mod Podge
- Cream color Polymer clay
First, roll out a small ball of polymer clay. I wanted my pie scene to look like I was in the process of creating a delicious apple pie. Roll out your clay crust, and bake it according to directions.
Coat the cutting board with matte mod podge or glue. Use the knife to scrape chalk powder onto the surface. The chalk dust looks just like flour! Glue the pie crust to the cutting board.
Aren’t the teeny tiny little pies so adorable?
I love super adorable little minis!
Set the table with your baking supplies. Since I’m making an apple pie I added some cute tiny apples, some flour, butter, milk, and my teeny tiny pie crust. Use the chalk to create more flour on the table.
I used a few old miniatures that I inherited from my grandmother in the scene. The table and the pie rack were hers. She loved to create miniature scenes and doing little projects like this reminds me of her.
Setup your pie-making scene on your display surface. I set mine up on a cute cake plate that I found recently. It will look adorable displayed in my kitchen during the holiday season.
